Hardware Test Technician (Temporary)

We are seeking a temporary Test Technician to execute high-volume performance testing for an automated dispensing machine. The primary goal of this role is to conduct repetitive test protocols and reliable data collection, freeing up our engineering team for core design work.

Responsibilities

• High-Volume Testing: Execute repetitive, high-quantity dispense cycles to generate statistical data for machine evaluation.
• Data Collection: Accurately track, log, and report output numbers and basic observations from test runs.
• Shop Support (Optional): Assist with routine manual fabrication (machining, grinding, part modification) as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to consistently and reliably execute repetitive testing protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording quantitative data.
• Ability to follow direct engineering instructions in a fast-paced R&D environment.
• Nice-to-Have: Hands-on experience with manual machining and standard shop tools (grinders, drill presses).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical requirements and work environment expectations vary by position. Physical activities may include standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, as well as the use of hands, arms, and voice communication. Some roles may require lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements may include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
